Another newly opened course can be found about ten minutes south of “La Zenia” outside the town of Pilar de Horedada.

I played this course in August 08 and found it to be very “user friendly” as one of my fellow players, on that day, remarked.
There are water hazards liberally sprinkled around the course but nothing as invasive as those on “la Serena”.

The signature hole is the par four eighteenth. A beautifully constructed, platformed, island green that leaves you no room for error.
You view this hole from the club house, at the start, so it gives you plenty of time to think of how best to play it.
The flood water gullies around the course may come into play later in the year, after rain.
When I played it was 44 degrees centigrade and the gullies were bone dry and didn`t impinge to much on my enjoyment of this very nice course.

Like I said this is a golfer friendly track. It rewards the good shot, without punishing, too harshly, the odd wayward shot and giving you the opportunity of recovery.
Five of the par 4`s are fairty short, 290 – 320 mtrs, giving the long hitter plenty of opportunity for “birdies” Add to that some friendly par 3`s and well maintained putting surfaces and you have a course that is a joy to play.
