Although situated beside “Las Ramblas” this course is totally different ,in fact, the direct opposite.

With its long, wide and open fairways it suits the big hitter, but be wary of the slope, and tricky bunker placement, around the course. Most fairways, particularly the front nine, slope from right to left, down to a flood water race, which when dry, which is most of the time, can act as a wind tunnel that will carry your ball a long way from point of entry. Beating these fairways will call for good club choice as well as accuracy.

The greens are well maintained and most are bunker protected, but even those that look easy can be very deceptive and hard to read, and can turn your “birdies” into “bogies” very easily.

This is a course that can be walked, when its not too hot, so if you need a bit of exercise and are feeling energetic, walk the course and leave the buggy behind. I`ve found I play a little better when I walk. I think its because walking, to the ball, gives me more time to get over a bad shot and concentrate on my next shot.

A lovely course. One of my favourites, to relax on, when I`m under pressure.
